About 18 months would be my guess, yes.
By then maybe the high-capacity DVD drives will all be dual standard
(blu-ray and HD-DVD) ... it's ridiculous that the manufacturers had to
confuse the market with two needlessly competing standards AGAIN, I suggest
that nobody should invest in either technology until they're well and truly
merged.
