Yes , it's very reliable

In fact it's almost indistinguishable from XP of similar vintage (i.e. Win2k vanilla is pretty poor, but SP2 was about as good as vanilla XP, and SP4 is about as good as XP-SP2). Not surprising, given the closeness of the code base.
