Re: My new PC opens MS iexplorer twice!

Where does it say that then?

As you've now noticed. I'm afraid your news server is rather slow it was
only posted 9 mins later.

I'm afraid that's an oxymoron. If you haven't realised that Windows is not
very stable, then you *haven't* been using it long enough.

It's stable enough for what I use it for. I admit it has it idiosyncrises
but that does not make it unstable.
In the days of Win98 I was always sorting problems out every so often but XP
for me just works, so much so I almost forget how to trouble shoot. The
current problem has only occured on my new PC & my previous PC of 8 years
young never showed this problem once.

Oh, and if it's very stable, why are you having to ask about a problem you
are having with it :-)

It's just 1 minor problem. An oddity I've never seen before on XP on ANY PC
I've used.

As for security can a million business's be wrong?

Yes. As can the billions of people worldwide who choose VHS over Betamax
for
example.

That's not wrong that was just preference. Most people do not care for
ultimate pic quality.

You could say billions of billions are wrong to choose CD over SACD but
again that would be just preference & wrong to say so.

Oh, and what do the majority of web servers run...?

Umm Linux? What does that have to do with a Home PC? Both entirely different
uses.
