If you read my post correctly you'll find I don't use IE7
Where does it say that then?
In his second post:
"I'm just thinking maybe you need more info :)
It is IE6.0xxx & XP pro SP2 running from a E6600 CPU. "
OK. That post wasn't on my news server when I sent that; it actually
appears
for me now as the OP's third post...
Perhaps you should be asking yourself the question is Windows secure
and bug
free enough to use...
I've been using Windows long enough to realise it is a very stable
system.
I'm afraid that's an oxymoron.
No it isn't, but yours is a cliche.

HTH
?
If you haven't realised that Windows is not
very stable, then you *haven't* been using it long enough.
I have been using windows for a very long time, and it's stable.
Me too. It isn't.
I'm having some difficulties accessing my account on a financial website.
Before I reported the problem, I decided to fire up a Windows box and try
from there. (If I hadn't, the support people would have told me that they
only support Windows.)
Before I could get to login, IE7 crashed...
If you knew how to configure windows properly, it wouldn't have.
And I use
it for much more than just the internet.
Yep, me too. Since 3.1. At home and at work. Extensively.
And you think 3.1 is any relation to XP? LOL!
Btw, I've used Windows since before 3.1 was released, so I win.
Oh, and if it's very stable, why are you having to ask about a problem
you are having with it :-)
Having a single problem with a thing by no means indicates instability.
Doesn't equal stable either, does it?
http://www.askoxford.com/concise_oed/stable_1?view=uk
"Not likely" <> "Never"
(FYI - "<>" = "not equal to")
So yes, if it's just the one problem then it's still stable.
XP with SP2 is bearable, but it is *not* very stable.
Yes, it is.
Oh no it isn't...
He's off to the panto now...
<snip linux fanboy stuff>
<Yawn>
<Yawn> at the boring Linux fanboy bitching about Windows. Get back to you
fashionably unfashionable OS and stop bitching about OSes you don't
understand, why don't you?
I'm not particularly a "fan" of any OS
Yes, you are.
. I'll use what works best. I've spent
a lot of time finding that out...
And yet you still use Windows. And complain about it. Why?
Your ironic sig regarding prejudice is missing. Good thing too.
Thank you for all your helpful comments; welcome to my killfile.
