Good idea but really need something more along the route of AM2 or S775
to upgrade to dual core within a month or two.
Was thinking about the Abit SG95, seems Core 2 Duo is now the big thing,
unless AMD are about to bring something out im not aware of?
What about the ASROCK 4CoreDual ATX http://tinyurl.com/2omusw £ 38.23 and
a Celeron 331 S775 2.66 @ £ 20.72 http://tinyurl.com/2sy58u Total £ 58.95
inc Free Delivery and the board takes both DDR & the super cheap DDR2 +
Core 2 Duo when you need to upgrade.
btw don't go for the Abit SG95 as it only supports 800fsb CPU like E2140,
E2160 and E4300 the AsRock 4CoreDual support 800/1066fsb CPU like e6320,
e6420 e6600 etc... the only thing it don't support is 1333fsb CPU but then
you'd need a more expensive P35 motherboard to support the next gen of C2D
CPUs. The 4CoreDual will support all current gen Core 2 Duo's IMO not bad
for £ 58.95 with a Celeron 2.66ghz to tide you over.
Thanks for the heads up, Nick, i didnt notice that.
