Im looking to built a new system but have slightly gone over my

Must have Sata, PCI-E and take DDR2.
I would be looking to use it for gaming and watching films.
I know Core 2 Duo is the big hype at the moment but its out of my
price range, so just wondering what people's thoughts were on the
lower end of the market.
Any ideas or recommendations?

AsRock K8N6FG-VSTA springs to mind; though I'm not sure if it takes DDR or
DDR2. It has 2 SATA ports and a single IDE connector allowing 2 drives on a
single ribbon. It's a 64-bit board and has a single PCIe x 16 and PCIe x 1
slot, also 2 PCI slots. It runs SATA combined with IDE very well and doesn't
get too hot. It has an NVIDIA GeForce 6100 nForce 405 (256 MB) video
adapter, NVIDIA MCP61 Serial ATA Controller , and an nVidia nforce
networking controller.
You should be able to afford a Sempron with the change from £50.
