With a dual channel RAM system, even on the fastest current processors,
does the MHz & timings speed matter that much between say 667 & 800 ??
5-5-5-15 & 4-4-4-12 etc.?

Every body seems to worry over the MHz / timings & little mention of Dual

Will give you an interesting overview of how a multithreaded engineering
is beneficial to the hardware. So i would say depends on OS. But as a fact
here the h/w matters in quantity not speed.
Cheers.
Agree a "pseudo" (software) multithreading and speed is a cheap way to solve
the "problem" i guess.
