I was in the local having a jar when an acquaintance said do want this? It was a Netgear DG834G v2 wireless Router. I gratefully accepted. The thing is that it was just the actual router - nothing else. I have hunted around and found that it comes with an installation wizard CD, power adaptor, LAN cable and ADSL phone line filter.Just the kind of thing someone walks into a pub with and hands over!
Is there anywhere I can download the CD? I have got a hard-wired router here so could use the power adaptor/cables from that. Also could you advise on what the second computer (upstairs in bedroom) needs to function properly. It is an old HP box with XP pro and an Intel Celeron A 333mhz CPU. There are two usb ports to the rear. It runs well enough with a hard wired router (when placed near to this main comp which is downstairs.
All help will be much appreciated.
Cheers.
Yes Officer, a bloke (not sure of his name) gave it to me in my local.
