I posted to the group some time ago about a new build PC that doesn't

I have since returned the components to the supplier and they have
tested them and returned them all with "no fault". I have just finished
the re-build and I have exactly the same problem. Namely that when
turned on, all the fans come on and stay on, and remain that way until
powered off again. There is nothing on screen, no clues as to a problem
and I'm completely stumped. I've tested the Gfx card in another machine
and it works fine, I've tested the RAM in another machine and it works fine.
So, it must be something I'm doing right? But I don't see how, because I
ordered two identical sets of components and I built them both exactly
the same and the other one works fine and has done since the 26th November!
Someone, please try and put me out of my misery!
Suggestions:
take the motherboard out of the case and run it to see if there are
problems caused by contact with the case itself.
Swap components one by one from system that is working.
Sorry if these have already been suggested. From personal experience I
recommend testing the setup out of the case anyway. Its a lot simpler
swapping components.
