Finally has anyone any experience with Printers and bluetooth? I imagine
you
stick a USB Bluetooth dongle into the printer and then your PC (which also
has a bluetooth dognle of somesort) can pick it up and print to it - or
does
the bluetooth piece connected to the printer have to be a specific thing?
I
am sure I saw a HP Bluetooth adapter which makes thiers prieters wireless
over bluetooth - any idea?
You won't will be able to stick a Bluetooth dongle into just any printer's
front USB port and get it to work. I noticed that some HP printers have an
optional USB Bluteooth dongle, but they were designed to use them. What is
not clear is of they are just normal USB Bluetooth dongles. I'm going to
get a Photosmart 8750 as it looks to be the best A3 printer at the moment,
for various reasons. I saw the bt300 Bluetooth Wireless Printer Adapter
dongles on eBay, but when I asked the vendor if it was a normal USB dongle I
got a very vague answer.
