OT: Newsreader Quoted Text

Ive been a gravity newsreader fan for some time but always been on the
look out for another due to the odd tiny gripe here and there ... im
now trying out xananews and everything so far appears fine.

The only thing I miss so far is muting the quoted text - xananews
colour codes the levels of quoted text which is good but is there a way
to have it only show 2 or 3 lines of the quoted text rather than all of
it - ive already read the quoted text most of the time so its pointless
always having it there - just a couple lines so I can grasp the context
is what im after with a toggle to put all of it back if need be.

There used to be a busy newsreader newsgroup but can't seem to find it
- anyone know one?
