Re: Single sided DIMMS for QDI mobo

In article <fhihb2ldpkr7n17q09n34k8ous1vv84j3k@xxxxxxx>, says...

It's generic from Scan & I'm now on my second lot having returned the
first.

Tried each stick alone & in different slots. No joy.

I don't understand why people still buy this generic ***. Crucial is
no more expensive as the postage is free and the DO honour their
lifetime guarantee with no quibbles whatsoever. I once asked for a RMA
code for some 4 year old DIMMS I still use because I had a problem
which I thought was the RAM. I didn't have the receipt but all they
asked for was the product code and the e-mail address/home address I'd
used for the order and they found it. They even said as soon as they
got the RAM, they'd send replacements straight out.

I have yet to find a computer that won't work with it in over 5 years
of upgrades and builds for customers. Hell, the DIMMS I use have been
in 6 or 7 different motherboards now.
