Daft question, but how do you check the output. I have a multi-tester
in a draw somewhere that I have never used. The training course I
completed never even mentioned how to use the thing and no printed
instructions were given. Thanks,

Ahhh, we have a rig I can plug the ATX12V and other headers into and then
switch for readings.
You could use a multimeter but you'll have to check the pinouts on
www.formfactors.org to know what you're looking at.
