The first thing to do is try it with the *minimum* of hardware. Just the
motherboard with CPU, one stick of RAM, and the vid card. If you get vid
card, then motherboard BIOS messages onscreen you know the core kit is
probably fine and that there are no basic flaws like the previous poster
suggested.
