I can't answer the question, but what would such a date-stamp prove?
It could only ever show the computer's date at time of burning, which
is whatever you want it to be.

Thats true enough , but the cd in question was written by a very clueless
person who I'm pretty sure wouldn't have thought of that and I could do with
proving when it was done
