Some of he latest mobos [ASUS P5N32-SLI Deluxe Motherboard

No problem. For a single process to be able to see it requires that the
operating system be 64-bit, as a 32-bit pointer can only address 4Gb.
But as far as I know I havent seen a RAM having more than 1gig
memory.
You can get 2Gb sticks of DDR2 from Crucial...

...for instance
Neither have I seen a mobo having more than
2 slots for ram [Or am I yet to see things? Let there be light...
please!].
Uh.... oh
Thanks...
What planet are you from, really?

Now that's a mother of a board.
Just look for 'motherboard' in google image search and you'll get the picture.
Taking into account these facts how can a mobo
support 16GB of RAM ?
I saw the picture... wow!

I second you
Designers with a willingness to provide for more than theDesigners who couldnt care less about people like me.
anticipated-at-the-time number of address lines to memory slots? Designers who
read the spec, and dont assume that 640k is all anyone is ever going to need.
