In article <447ddee9$0$2597$db0fefd9@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, Simon Burley
says...
I have two arrays, each has 8 Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 drives.I take it from this that you aren't using a proper server case?
Each array currently has it's own 300w AT power supply - it's not enough
and batches of 4 drives must be manually plugged in at power on to
stagger the spin-up, otherwise the psu will go into over-current mode
and shut down.
Can someone recommend a suitable ATX supply? Preferably one that fails
gracefully if/when it fails. I don't want 240v AC fed up the 5v rail,
thank you very much.
