I seem to be having a recurring problem with my PCs... put simply, they're
all overheating! (the cpu, that is)
Gregory, where are you located and what is the ambient air temperature in
the room where the hot PC's reside?
I can't speak about your PC, but I have AMD processors here and I have
acheived good results by using several options that are open to you.
1. If possible, in BIOS lower the operating voltage of the CPU slightly,
this can have a drastic effect on reducing temperatures.
2. Run a utility called CPU Idle.
I have a computer that runs in the highest part of my house (and the
hottest)... And I keep the processor around 32-35C in a room of ambient
temperature around 29-30C.
65C sounds way to hot for my liking, unless you are living in a very very
hot environment.
