DVD playback corrupted

One of my PCs won't play DVDs, well, it will, but the video is corrupted (sound is OK).

The graphis card is a GeForce FX5200 using driver verion 71.84

PowerDVD just gives an error (hex number) and tells you to report it to them.

WMP10 plays but the video is just a load of horizontal coloured lines.

Any ideas what the cause is, and how to fix it?
