Can anyone help? I've been trying to install Forecastfox on my W2k Pro machine from the Firefox Add-ons page but after pressing the 'Install Now for Windows' (Green box) I receive a message at the top of the browser saying: 'Software installation is currently disabled. Click Edit Options... to enable it and try again' On pressing the 'Edit Option' button I'm taken to the Firefox 'Options' dialogue box where everything appears fine?? I'm getting this problem with whatever extension I try!! It appears that all downloads from within Firefox are blocked/disabled but how and why I can't determine... I would be very grateful for any help with this... Regards all... Richard

make sure addons.mozilla.org and update.mozilla.org are listed with status set to "allow"
Thanks Trevor... Both these setting are set to 'allow', that's why I'm so perplexed as to my inability to do the install... But I greatly appreciate your suggestions... Any other ideas... I get the feeling this is going to turn out to be something really simple that I'm doing wrong (as usual :-)
