Really, my old Abit NF7-s used to need the F6 insert floppy option to
instal my SATA drive but my Abit Fatal1ty did not need this step for
the SATA drive. Or are you meaning specifically a raid set up?
No intention of RAID in any form, so shouldn't be an issue. I hope.
And to the OP why the AMD64 3500 when the AMD64 3700+ is a slightly
more money but significanly more powerful with double the L2 Cache at
1MB.
An example processor from the XP64 family. Which one will depend on
his budget but if you say the 3700 is 'significantly' more powerful
we'll look at the option, thanks. The more power to the processor,
the shorter the compilation times for video's.
