Re: xp admin account

I found one of my clients machines today had been taken over by the user, its a xp sp2 machine - the user account had power user priveledge and he did not know the admin password, it was a fresh win xp install from about a month ago with all patches.

However, I found the admin account had been renamed and he was using it as his primary profile with his own password and had installed all the usual suspects you'd expect if he were to start ripping dvd's, playing xvid's, etc.

Power Users can reset passwords. The guy must've used his Power User account to reset the admin password.
