One thing to keep firmly in mind - if you don't have enough real
RAM, when it swaps to the HD, it becomes basically DDR.001 speed ...
So DDR266 for 3G, if you're using it, is better than 2G of DDR400
that swaps 1G to HD.
"But how do I tell?" Presuming XP, open up the Task Manager, select
the Performance Tab, and look at the bottom right corner - see what the
"Peak" and "Total" commit values are. If they exceed how much RAM you do
have, then you need more. If they don't, you don't, and I'd stay at 2G
DDR333 instead of 3G DDR266 B)
