If possible, find your soundcard in the device manager. There may be a
whole list of 'sound' related controllers. Look at their properties. If
there is a 'resource' tab, then see what it says. It may be possible
that there is also a 'change settings' button on the panel for your
selection. See if it offers alternative resource settings. This may
require some blind experimentation, but this is often the case.
