If you don't have access to such a webserver, I'd be happy to help you out with this. It's a five minute job to set up a page that returns a "Page not found" error when someone visits, but have the access logged to a file containing the date/time, ip address, browser used etc. You can then just plant an email in your inbox that has a link to this page in it somewhere.
Post back to the group with an munged email address you know is safe and I'll contact you back :)
