XP Home problem

Hello, All!
I sold a Packard Bell Imedia computer in May this year (05) which was
running xp home, all activated and updated etc together with the licence
sticker on the side. The person that bought it has just got back to me with
a problem, he says he had to re-install the OS using the disk I supplied
(don't remember selling a disk but still...) he says the system doesn't
accept the number on the licence sticker. QUESTION.. would he have to
use a genuine Packard Bell install disk? I always thought any XP home disk
would do. If he does need to use a Genuine PB disk, could anyone here supply
me with one or a copy ? I would be happy to cover expenses etc.
I am also going to post this request on uk.adverts.computer
With best regards, 3T39. E-mail: rubbishrat@xxxxxxxxxxx
