I have just done precisely that. I chose AVG and am very happy with it. Norton did not give up without a struggle and caused all sorts of problems as it did not uninstall cleanly.


Technical support at AVG were superb in helping to track down the problems, typically replying within an hour each time. Try that with Symantec. That sort of service, in itself, makes AVG worth a consideration.
