Thanks for the advice BigH2K.
Having had a look around I think I will probably build my own, Antec seems
to have a nice case (P180 I think it was called). Water Cooling still leaves
me slightly concerned, my plumbing skills are not the best and if I get it
wrong could end up frying my nice new server!! Barracuda 7200 disks seems to
get a good write up for noise levels and I will use onboard graphics so no
additional fan noise there. Just need to make sure I get a quiet PSU and
need to decide on the CPU to use. IdeallyI would go for a Xeon dual
processor but I assume they are similar to P4 in terms of level of cooling
(and therefore fan noise) required. Did read some interesting articles about
building a server using a Intel Pentium M processor, so will look at that a
bit more too!
