Hi
I couldnt get XP to install, i was using the 40pin idex2
Someone said try the 80 pin, so i put the hd to master and dvd to slave, now
they are not picked in bootup, if i put both to cs the same thing happens,
only if i just have the hd then it detects it.
Reason i tried that was i was getting the same error when it got to i think
57% of trying to copy the files, tried it 10 times and last time i tried it
that took 6 hours to get that far.
That was with the 80pin with the hd and the old 40 with the dvd drive.
I replaced the cpu, ram.
cheers
.
