Unusual dilemma!

I have a bit of a dilemma at the moment. I want to do a clean install of
Windows XP as for some reason the CPU usage keeps on spiking and I can't
seem to find a way to stop it. Its quite annoying as the keyboard, mouse
and sound all stop working for a few seconds every minute or so.

The problem is, I recently broke the keyboard port somehow and had to buy a
new USB microsoft keyboard. However, the function keys don't seem to work
so when booting from the Windows XP CD so I can delete a partition then
create and format a new one, I can't accept the license agreement which
requires the F8 key.

Does anybody know any way I can get around this problem?

Cheers

Tom
