Discarded rubbish

I have just returned from a short walk along the road outside my house.

It is only built up on one side, the other running on a wide verge parrallel
to the railway line. The road leads to a large council estate.
It gets a lot of foot traffic. Fed up with looking out bof the bedroom
window at rubbish in the grass opposite I took some
plastic bags and picked up the cans and bottles while walking the dog. I
reason the food wrappers will bio-degegrade in time.

In a 200 yard walk (The dog is old), I filled the two bags. About half were
energy drinks and the remainder soft drinks and beer.

So I deduce that half the rubbish is the 'joggers', who you would expect
better .

I also noticed on a drive home that a settee had been discarded in a country
layby. I had thought random dumping had decreased,
how have you found this?
