It is astonishing how much goes in your life after you stop actual farming... I have had several suggest that I must be lost with "nothing to do"! OK several European trips on't Motorbike have eased the boredom, but there still seems enough to occupy my time.
Many retired folk, including me, wonder how they ever found time to go to work. :-)
