Well I might not wake up tomorrow so it must be a good day if I do and the sun shining is a bonus. :-)

Mrs OC is the gardener I just put the fork in, turn it over then do as I am told.

Daughter and family are moving to Germany, Munich. Son in Law has promotion. He also calculates that it will be more difficult and more expensive to make him redundant over there. The eldest two grandchildren are remaining here but the other two are going to attend an international school near Munich.

We will see more of the eldest grandson as he will want a good meal every so often and the eldest granddaughter starts university this autumn, probably Nottingham, so she will probably visit from time to time, or we will be providing a taxi. :-) I am trying to persuade Mrs OC that we should visit at Christmas time so that we can go to the Christmas markets. She isn't convinced though, thinks outside winter is better.

Wow! It sounds like you have a wonderful family and they are doing well. You can't ask for more than that. Well, you can, but...

Indeed, they organised our golden wedding celebrations, with us knowing only that something was being organised. Son in law was the organiser and I now know why he is so valued by his company. Absolutely nothing was forgotten and the evening ran like clockwork.
