Internet can post what they like to this thread and, furthermore, it is
impossible to "disrupt" postings. A response is just that, a response,
which may be critical, in agreement, both or neither. In an un-moderated
newsgroup such as this, the original poster who starts a thread has no
say whatsoever in what may come afterwards in that thread. It really is
about time you both realised that and accepted it.
If, in all these years, he has not grasped this simple truth, then there
is no hope of it sinking in now. I have long said that he has a problem
and everything he posts supports this view. Quite a few posters to Usenet
have mental or social problems of some sort. Moderators would not tolerate
them on any web based forum. I now tend to use BFF and the traffic there
is high. If you register the system warns of new messages in a topic and
arranges the posts in order of last posting. Trolls and idiots are not
tolerated.
I can appreciate you panicking.
Wasn't it you that insisted that I had not given evidence to a Select
Commitee to the House of Commons, despite me repeatedly correctng you and
pointing you to the official record of the evidence being given on the House
of Commons site on the Internet?

You now want to get me off the Internet? It is far too late for that.
Look Huw, the best thing you could do now is to apologise, not make it worse
by compounding the offence. All you have to do is say here that you are
sorry and that you did not realise the implications.
I won't feel it necessary to raise the matter again and will only do so if
questioned on that specific point. Can't be fairer than that, can I?
MRSA kills kids. Don't harass a witness. It is a mug's game, with only one
possible ending for you.
