Quite! Buying goods manufactured overseas and carbon trading do much
the same.
I am a climate change believer but have little hope that the world's
governements and population have any sincere intention of doing
anything about it.
Just one thing: Our government keeps saying they intend to cut carbon
emissions by 50% by 2050. At the same time the ONS predicts that the
UK population may rise 50% to 108 million. So the real cut in carbon
emissions will have to be 66% per person. HOW?
