Take it easy, she may be on your side.
I'm not on anyone's side. I was just asking a question that was never
answered. I'm the curious sort, which lead me to this news group in the
first place. I ask questions because I want to understand.
You have to recall that I know that some Americans and have been
monitoring this group and others for quite some years. Naturally, I have
no idea of their motivation or even employers, if any.
My motivation when I started monitoring this group was to learn more about
agriculture (what happens to the foods I eat before they get to my table),
and there are no good US ag news groups. It's as simple as that.
I always thought it a bit odd that a mature American lady should visit the
UK on her own after FMD, travel the country, visit some of the back spots,
mix and stay with some of the worst scamps. Burning pyres and distraught
farmers were hardly a tourist attraction
I admit it may be odd for me to travel as I did, but I was enjoying an
adventure to a beautiful country to visit people who had become my friends.
I had a wonderful time! As for the "after FMD" part of it, I simply refuse
to live my life based on fear.
Suddenly she returns buttering up the politburo and trying to aggravate
me. MRSA seems to have attracted her.
I don't believe there is a "politburo" and have no political ties or
leanings or association in your country (or my own for that matter). I'm
quite apolitical.
She is also obviously being briefed privately by Jill, but may well
realise that her pretence of knowledge of science is total bluff.
I haven't received a private email from Jill probably since last Christmas
when she sent out their family greeting. BTW, where is this years update,
Jill? :-)
I have never claimed to be an expert on any subject, nor to have "no"
knowledge. It doesn't take much reading, following the discussions and
hearing news briefs to get a general understanding of a situation. I ask
questions, in order to draw a conclusion. That is the natural order of
things. You seem to think it is not my right to draw some conclusion after
receiving a certain amount of information from different sources. Perhaps
the problem is just when my conlusion isn't the same as yours???
If you are perhaps not what you seem, you would hardly fail to be
agreeable to the people you are watching and aggressive towards their
detractors
I am just what I seem to be, an average American seeking knowledge and
enjoying communications with interesting people. Well, the average American
may not be seeking knowledge, but you get the drift.
Have a great day!
M
