Wheat`s best, but I have to use up what I have first cos I don't have much room, storage and handling is a problem Steve.
Is there any good straw in the country ? I have just started on my
winter supplies and am most disappointed to say the least. It looks
good from the outside of the bale but in the middle it is mostly
like a brick, baled damp I expect. I have bought from the same
supplier for several years and this is the first time the stuff is
rubbish, I have complained but he insists that he cannot find any
better locally. I would rather pay more and get good quality, I
have been told that the straw in Scotland is good this year but
that is a long way to go from Gloucestershire and yes I will be
looking for a new supplier.
Wheat or Barley straw, Kate??
