No scientist will ever say anything is 'proven' in that sense of 100%
certainty. That proof is mathematical.
However science can say something is very well supported by the
evidence, or not supported. In the case of deities there appears to be
zero physical evidence of their existence.
Our knowledge grows at a quite remarkable rate and all the time 'new'
discoveries are made. The fact is that they were there all the time, we
just didn't know how to find them. How certain are you that the release
of knowledge to us is not being controlled by a god and that, in time, the
god will decide we (offspring way into the future not we as in us here now)
are fit to see it and hence release the greater knowledge that requires?
