Yup, "They" don't call it "playing god" when the medics prevent
natural abortion or extend longevity by counteracting effects of a
stroke, cardiac episode etc. but do so in the matter of euthanasia.

Good point.

Take it further - if a species becomes too numerous for its habititat
to support then the species declines.

It's nature - why should homo sapiens be a special case?
