Dunno about that, it sounds as if most of our Army is deployed in Iraq and
Afganistan according to Dannat(sp??) the Chief of the Army. At the rate
they are losing personnel, they will have to bring back National Service
if they want to restart the Cold War.
The army has between 100,000 and 150,000 people (depending on exactly
how you count). The last time I checked, about 7000 were in
Afghanistan and 5000 in Iraq. There are also a few thousand in less-
newsworthy bits of the world, but most are in the UK.
