Not in any experience I know of and mine is mostly pony
Vets fees for ponies are too high for that
All club events or sponsored rides etc etc etc require insurance
Basic insurance comes with BHS membership which goes with most even minor
events.
Most basic livery [ like us ] require basic insurance.


AS to the topic of the post around here so many places are dual function -
second one being tourism that its astonishing how far a coat of paint goes
and having the scrap pile out of sight goes !!!
There are often comments about how well everyone must be doing cos the
places look so well !!!!
Swans come to mind
