interesting if it does pan out
A group of scientists called on the Food Standards Agency yesterday
to acknowledge that organic milk is healthier than the conventional
pint.
The 14 veterinary and public health researchers have written to the
FSA claiming that there is compelling evidence that organic milk is
a richer source of Omega 3 essential fatty acids and that official
advice should reflect this.
Have they solved the problems of higher coliforms etc that I
remember folks here describing some years ago?
If you mean the cell count issue, no and are unlikely to. But the
problem is self inflicted to an extent in that the manufacturers
wanted cell count driven down because that improved shelf life, and
for organic produce that should be less of a problem.
Why is it less of a problem for organic?
Sorry to be dense!

they cannot use dry cow antibiotics. Pretty well the sole aim of these is to
cut cell count
another interesting article, sewage sludge is now organic, but whether this
is 'organic' as recognised by SA I'm not sure
