Isin't this what we have been going on about the result of destocking
on upland environments?.. East Wicklow has whole areas that have not
been grazed for years are an example of what can happen. One man who
stopped putting his sheep `to the hill' said that he was losing too
many sheep, the vegetation had grown over holes and other dangerous
places, and sheep fall in.
