Nonetheless a good thing global warming is only projected to produce
half a metre rise by the best simulations, as distinct from those of
the scaremongers.

We have seen a good few inches rise in our bit of the creek here already in
the past 10 years

But that is due to infill with blasted Spartina angelica ruining a
delightful salt marsh transition habitat.

Half a metre would compromise our total acreage by some metres all along but
not threaten the buildings in any way
5 metres would be a different kettle of fish altogether
