Thanks for those who welcomed me including Pat Gardner .whos website I
have also read with interest.Im reading anything I can find these days !
At my tender age (mid 50s) I am about to buy a small holding.farmhouse ,
garden and about 8 acres of grazing.
I dont even know which end of a pig to plant............and its been ages
since we grew veggies.
But if the deal goes through we are both looking forward to a new way of
life.Fortunately I work from home and will not need an income from this
new activity
but know doubt I will be asking a lot of questions from you guys .Im in no
hussy to make mistakes and at the moment the land is being used by a lacal
farmer for some sheep.
Long term some rare beed sheep, a couple of pigs , 6 chickens and a good
veggie and fruit area.....thats the target.
A lot to learn ... and enough time I hope before I get too old :)
You are very welcome. If we get enough people with some common sense here, I
might well launch a takeover bid.
