In a post - bother it's gone off my spool, must be about three weeks back -
there was a mention of an option to compost the carcases in situ before
disposal. Given the constituents the whole lot should be more fire-risk
than disease-risk in well under a month.
If the disease is a virus - AIUI a chemical essentially - then it may not
deteriorate while hanging about in that situation so may well be dangerous
even after a long time.
Is this something you know or something you suspect ?
