Britain has the effrontery to blame overseas countries for not
taking British poultry, when by their own admission we have had
bird flu for six weeks and still don't know if it is the dangerous
variety. Our political figures covered themselves in glory by
suggesting the bans were illegal. It now seems that Britain was
lying and the bans were legal under under even the complainants
shaky understanding of international law.
I don't blame the Japanese and Russians. Do you?
Britain is the red light district of the livestock world - riddled
with disease and deception
Some days I wake up and wonder if, Britain is the real world or
some peculiar Vancite creation where Peter Pan is likely to come
round the corner at any moment.

To Pat Gardiner: I hope you will accept my apologies for misspelling your
name. I do not purposely abuse people in that manner.

I realize this is another thread but I have moved past the one in which the
misspelling occurred.

Hang in there, as you may yet, in spite of gerneral opinion, prevail.
