Ping Howard...follow up

I was in error when I thought there was a cover up concerning a police chase and fence damage.

It transpires that several police vehicles were in the area responding to a suspicious report vehicle in another part of the village.

Totally unconnected, a drunk driver took fright and hurried down our lane to avoid them. He found some ice, a ditch, the bridge abutment, another ditch and my fenced off cherry planting.

I think the vehicle was then spotted as part of the wider operation.

I wonder if his insurers plan to replace the vehicle.
