AI [bird flu] vaccine Nobilis influenza
contains antigens to H5N2; H5N6; H7N1; H7N7; H9N2
has only been tested for safety on chickens
is not suitable for birds under 2 weeks old
50% of injected bird expect a transient diffuse swelling at site - swellings
may last weeks
no information is available for birds in lay
even minute accidental vaccination of the human may result in severe pain,
swelling especially if into joint or finger and could cause loss of digit
use all the vial within 3 hours of broaching !!! - [500 doses in 3 hours
blimey]

it protects against clinical signs, mortality, reduction of viral excretion
and transmission of virus but only after 2 weeks from vaccination
expected cover for 12 months
