I've never really understood this. providing combustion is good, and CO
levels of under 0.1% suggest most heaters are, then the amount of heat
you get off is the same for all boilers. The only losses are through the
sides and up the chimney. OK perhaps some condense the steam out (ugh!)
but the amount of heat recoverable this way must be very small, surely.
